Because I’m initially focusing on transmission tuning, I need the beta version of the software. To obtain this, you need to email support and request it. Once processed, it will appear in your download portal.

One thing I have learnt, is that you need to do a “read entire” using the beta version of the software and perform your modifications to that file. I performed the read entire using the production software, which although you can edit the new transmission parameters that are available with beta - you can’t actually apply them to the car.

So I had to merge my changes into the bin that was created using the beta.
